Another Baileys Trail System Wednesday Nite Owl Ride is coming up tomorrow, Nov. 3 at 6:30 PM. This week we'll be meeting at Utah Ridge Pond. This is the last Wed. before Daylight Wasting Time starts, so it will still be somewhat light at the start. The weather is looking to be dry, but cold, so dress warm for the ride.
The tentative plan is to ride the new trails, The Underground, Trillium Thrill, and Gorges Curves. If we descend down the new section of Gorges Curves to West Bailey Rd, then possibly returning on Wild Turkey/Tipple Top. Other possibilities include Tipple Top/Knights Labor/Corps Tour loop back to the pond if we don't do the new descent on Gorges Curves.
Note: park along the road outside the gate of the Utah Ridge Pond parking lot, as the lot is technically a Day-Use Area. Or if you want to put in a few extra miles, you could park at the Doanville Trailhead and ride up Doanville School and Holler Collar Trails to meet up for the ride.

I rode the new section of Gorges Curves with Spencer Saturday.  Forgot to turn on Strava.  Hopefully I will have another chance soon.  Good thing we did not ride it at night as there was so much leaf cover we literally rode off trail twice.  It’s pretty cool with advanced features and rock gardens.  It definitely needs bike and foot traffic.
