Hi y'all,

It's handy in some cases that athenaCL names output files after today's date and time. But when I'm scripting athenaCL in Python, it would be nice to be able to refer directly back to a created file, in order to reimport it into the script as data to be passed to other functions. Is there a way to specify a filename and directory for the output files in a python script, so that I can count on the output files being named a certain name?

thanks for your attention,
Jeff

the easiest way to do this is to provide a file path as an argument to the ELn command. the file path must end in .xml; other extensions will be applied as necessary:

pi{auto}ti{a} :: eln /_scratch/test.xml
EventList test complete:
/Volumes/xdisc/_scratch/test.mid
