Folks,

Apropos of Ari's recent comment in the "WHOA..." thread, Adam and I
spoke yesterday about creating a separate developers' group for ATHENA
Tix and moving all technical discussion over there. We had planned to
do so once we had a development team put together but given the high
level of interest we have seen from a technical community, now seems
appropriate. We do not want technical discussions about _how_ we are
going to solve a particular problem to obscure discussions about
_what_ the system should do.

This new list is: athena-t...@googlegroups.com

Going forward, all messages about technical issues, including
application and technology-level integration feature requests should
be directed to the athena-tix-devel list.

Messages about business case feature requests, like those in the
"Feature Request..." thread, and general discussions about the
business of ticketing and ATHENA Tix's place in it should remain here.

For the time being, if something seems ambiguous, post it here.
