ATHENA-Payments questions

Here at ATHENA Global HQ we're going through what a Payments service would look like. Here are some things we're pretty sure of:

ATHENA-Payments will...

- Hook-up to Braintree: http://www.braintreepaymentsolutions.com/ You bring your Braintree account details and ATHENA-Payments will hookup to it.
- In the future, support other PAyment processors such at PayPal, Authorize.net, etc...
- Accept Method of Payment (MOP) details from a user

ATHENA-Payments will not...

- Store credit card information

And here are some open questions for you to chew on this weekend:

- Does ATHENA-Payments care about which tickets are involved in this transaction? When Client Applications are POSTing details to ATHENA-Payments, should they include details about the tickets? The person involved in the transaction?

- Does ATHENA-Payments know about or interact with orders? I know information from the payment lands on the order, but is ATHENA-Payments doing that writing?
