All,

We have released 0.3 and tagged the code in github. We're about to embark on a few big changes which will clear the way for us to perform complex ticket queries, so this release was nice quiet time to tag the code and setup the maven-release-plugin.

What happened to 0.2?

I had quite an afternoon of getting acquainted with maven-release-plugin and in the course I goofed up the 0.2 release. So, we went right onto 0.3. Thankfully we're not paying by the version number.

What about Parakeet?

Some weeks ago we re-organized the code into Maven subprojects. What was formerly Parakeet became sub-modules in Athena. You can get a look at our layout in our Github repository:

All of these 0.3 jars have been deployed to our Nexus repository available here:

The Github wiki has a lot of work to be done on it, please bear with us as we update it to reflect the new code layout.

Later this week I'll be writing the "Transaction Helper" to provide client support in conducting ticketing transactions. When that is complete, I'll post to this list about how that helper made use of the ATHENA Software Dev Kit

http://github.com/fracturedatlas/ATHENA/tree/master/athena-sdk/

The SDK has been designed so that you can pull one dependency into your Maven project and be off and running with some ATHENA extension wizardry.

Comments welcome. If you have problems, feel free to pop into our IRC channel on Freenode: ##athena

Cheers,
Gary
