My thanks to Ed Jarrett owner of A-vsC for his timely intervention and wisdom.
In England where we are charged that manners maketh man; we are also advised,
that least said is soonest mended.
Those that know Ed' will know he is a man of gentle manner, that fostered respect,
even (as I did on many occasions), disagreed with what he said and the views he held.
Some times I have failed to properly emulate his mild manner, but I have managed to
resist foulmouthed abuse. This site is generally a free-for-all-for all and as such we
must accept what is a precious freedom after all, which this site provides: the freedom
to speak without fear or favour to express our thought as bast we know how and have
them opposed, bt others who have the same rights. It was these tenets that I was trying
to uphold, but was prevent from elucidating because another member had the power
to prevent me and used it against me. By abusing the site rules I sought to make my
views known to as many as possible. I saw no point in removing my objections to
where no one could respond to them. I think if you all think about it it is the duty of us all
to resist those that would seek to dumb down our ability to speak out against arbitrary
sanctions against anyone for saying it, as they see it. It is allowed here and must be upheld.
While I regret my bad behaviour in infiltrating many posts to make a point, I do not and
will not apologize for defending the rights to freedom of speech. I thank Ed for agreeing
with the principle, which I sincerely hope will now result in less deletions, wraught of late
by over-zealous and blatantly biased moderation.
I have this very morning received an email with the full transcript of all that has transpired
and for the first time I now fully understand the events here-to-fore not fully understood
by me. I do not always agree with e_space, I do not know him, but I thank him for his
honourable defense of my concerns. When there is no more to be said, we say no more.
