moderation

hello ... i am being moderated in the main board and i believe it is LL who is doing so ... from what i have determined, she has blocked recent comments of mine and has offered no explanation ... she will not respond to my questions about it and i believe she has blocked my comments to her ... i think she is doing this because i referred to her as a bitch after she repeatedly referred to me as a fool ... seems she can dish it out, but not take it ... she is also currently playing the fool card with richard etc ... i suggest your moderator's learn to accept criticism if they are going to dish it out ... i am involved in several conversations with tex and others that i believe are germane to the purpose of the blog ... LL states unknowns as fact and then bashes those who try to pin her down about it, such as myself ... i would appreciate a resolution to this issue ...

It doesn't look like your'e being moderated to me e-space. Your'e posts are coming in strangely out of time sequence. I just seen one at 30 min ago followed by one at 29 min ago.

Iv'e never experienced someone having been put on moderation and still capable of posting some messages. It is commonly either none or all.

Folks that decide to insult someone's intelligence in the public square should not expect to hide behind their keyboard after doing so. They don't have to personally accept an anti-social retaliation. Yet they have no case to cry to the digital police that someone is being disrespectful to them for no reason.

this is the message i am getting when trying to post "Your post has been sent for review and will appear after it has been approved." ... obviously this was put in place by someone ... i would like to know by who, and why ...

Could it be that moderators are not reading moderator boards? I don't know why they would not respond to a 7 year member as to why they are being moderated.

I have spoken to the owner of AvC. You are on moderation for profanity and personal attacks. When both are stopped, you will be taken off moderation. Should they start again, you will be put back on moderation.

further more, you have a habit of stating that i make claims, but you NEVER cite those claims ... just like you are not citing these claims of me launching "personal attacks" or using "profanity" ... the position of moderator seemingly has gone to your head ... you would fail miserably as a lawyer, as they are expected to introduce evidence to support their claims ... you have not done this as it relates to me, ever

i wrote a little ditty called "Power, Friend of Foe" ... it seems you fall into the latter category ... at least have the parts to admit that you are the one responsible for the moderation put on me and follow that up with citing the incidents that caused you to overstep your position (from my perspective) ... is that too much to ask?

Even though I am inactive on AvC, I am an owner. Generally the moderators come to me with questions about putting folks on moderation, and I generally respect their input. I did have a moderator suggest putting you on probation and, after review, agreed with him. And you will remain on moderation until he is satisfied that you are playing nice. Gripe all you want, but only by becoming a productive member of the group, rather than a buzzing fly, will you come off moderation.

yet neither you nor LL will cite what it is about my comments that are "profane" or "personal attacks" ... you have not addressed any of the issues i have raised, such as telling me when profanity was banned, showing where i actually used profanity, or citing one personal attack i have made on anyone ... there are PLENTY of personal attacks in AvsC ... LL herself uses disparaging remarks against many people, such as alan and brett (and me of course) ... if you allow only people who "play nice" to comment at the site it would be a ghost town ...

i was put on moderation without anyone telling me why ... when i ask why, you call it "griping", which is hardly fair imo ... i am a more productive member of the group than you are, and some people enjoy responding to my comments and questions, yet in your evaluation i am a "buzzing fly" ... is that what you call "playing nice"? ... from what i know, moderation is supposed to be fair and informative ... making claims about my behavior without using examples is hardly something that i can relate to ... but i'm sure that isn't overly relevant to you, is it?
