so - what is wrong with Google?

They're making some changes to their messaging system apparently and doing some debugging of those changes.

DK has been unable to post at all.

And it's possible that there are other unreported problems occurring since people always just assume they've been banned and don't always check with the Moderators.

We may just have to be patient and give them a chance to work through whatever issues have come up.

At any rate, it's important to let the Moderators know when anyone is having a problem posting.

We rarely ban people so it's far more likely that it's a technical issue of some sort.

If we know we can post it on the Help Forums so that Google is aware of it and can work on it.

That's what I figured - but I am getting messages that I didn't have before - so no telling?

 

We are enjoying a beautiful sunshining day today -- even though it is getting cooler.

The leaves are beautiful - except that they are coming off the trees - which spells *work*.

I am already - ready for Spring to begin.

Lets wait a bit and see what happens - if you don't mind.  It always looks like my posts are going through on my end of the line - but sometimes they just never show up again - I don't know -- let me make sure I am not making the problem.

The sun is shining --

The leaves are turning shades of golds, reds, etc.

The grass doesn't need to be mowed - as it is not growing as fast.

The flower beds are ready to be put up for the winter (meaning cleaned out from the annuals that were planted)

The leaves on the ground need to be gotten up and away from the flower beds and the steps and where-ever they are congregating.  This is when we need the wind to blow them onto the neighbors property so we don't have to do any leaf raking!  ha!

The weeds in the fields are drying up - which means that they are not causing us breathing difficulties.

A big, big tree across the road needs to be taken down -- hopefully they can get it down before it rains again.  A limb came off the other day -- boom - no warning -- just cracking and down it came.  Could hardly hear the thing because the mower was going.

The one that I get a lot is when I hit the "send" button nothing
happens.
Sometimes it actually registers a post, and sometimes it doesn't.

i have had it constantly for a couple of days...changed email accounts
to a hotmail account to get back on.

one theory on the help board was google banning its own accounts as
spam.

there are a few glitches, i dont get an update on the groups homepage
when a thread im involved with has a new message but its better than
nowt.

was it the bbc iplayer that you didnt have access to in australia? i
may be about to make you extremely jelous (i can never spell that
bloody word)
