I can't go tonight, but there are 4 spots left. Also links to last month's meeting at the bottom. Also, anyone interested in going next month? Maybe we could do a carpool.

This month Andy Thornton will give us an introduction to capacity planning, performance tuning and developing a “Health Check” for your Drupal website.
We'll cover how to get the most out of the built in Drupal optimization functionality through performance modules, optimizing PHP, tuning your lamp stack, caching and database tuning, and providing incremental steps towards scalability.
We will learn about the different areas where Drupal can be affected by performance bottlenecks, both within Drupal and in the environment it runs on. You will walk away with a solid understanding of how to investigate and troubleshoot problems and get the best possible performance out of your architecture.
What we will cover:
1. Introduction to capacity planning
2. Pressflow and Varnish
3. Identifying Bottlenecks
4. Optimizing your code / design / server / database / network
5. Cloud deployment vs Dedicated servers
6. What’s new in Drupal 7
7. Tips and Tricks
8. Where next
Who is the presentation for?
1. Mid level deployments ranging from web and db on the same server to clusters in the cloud.
2. Developer and site owners looking to develop best practices for performance.
3. Anyone interested in fine tuning their website for optimal performance.
