Dr. Ibarra has been one of the few good doctors I have dealt with. He took into consideration not only my physical health, but also my mental health. He went above and beyond anyone before him to help me on my quest of finding out what was wrong, and to rule out all physical possibilities.

I really like Dr. Ibarra. My life had been a hectic mess the past 2 years. Missed a few appointments with him but so glad I finally went today. He's very knowlegable, great bedside manner & really listens to your concerns. Thanks Dr. Ibarra!

Excellent listener, actually tries to fine out whats wrong rather than just fix symptoms. I've had digestive issues my whole life & he was able to get me the tests, treatments, & surgery I needed & continues to work closely with me for mamagement of my disease. Wonderful bedside manner. I would recommend him to anyone!

We pride ourselves on offering premium and customized care. We do not know any other clinics that take insurance and deliver the same quality of care we do. We are a cash-based medical practice that goes above and beyond for each patient. This has allowed us to get better results and solve unwanted health symptoms that many patients have been dealing with for decades.

Labs can be run through your private commercial insurance. Your out-of-pocket cost varies based on your deductible, out-of-pocket, and out-of-network benefits. We also offer affordable cash-based labs.

Naturopathic Medical Doctors (NMDs) have training in conventional medicine and natural therapeutics. Naturopathic Doctors attend federally-accredited 4-year post-graduate level medical schools and are trained in the same medical sciences and treatment options as Medical Doctors (MDs). This includes pharmaceuticals, imaging, labs, and so on.

Naturopathic physicians are often known to run more labs than conventional doctors. This is because naturopathic medicine treats problems and concerns based on a stricter lab reference range known as the optimal range.

This optimal range is based on research showing improvement not only in symptoms but in disease prevention in the first place. By taking this approach, naturopathic physicians are able to dig deeper into the root causes of a problem and help you find sustainable solutions.

The DeKalb County Community Foundation is excited to announce the Ibarra Family Scholarship Fund. Created through the generosity of the Ibarra family, this scholarship fund will provide an annual award to a Sycamore High School graduate of Mexican ethnic origin. This award honors the late Maria De Jesus Ibarra, who worked tirelessly to support her family and encourage ongoing education for her children.

Growing up in El Paso Texas, the parents of Juan Ibarra worked many hours to provide for their children. Over and over his parents would stress the importance of education and the opportunities it would provide in the future. They taught that life could be very difficult without a good education. This consistent message propelled Juan and his siblings on to pursue their dreams. After high school, Juan set his sights on becoming a medical doctor. He enrolled at Texas Tech University where he completed his undergraduate studies and medical school at the age of 24. Juan achieved his dream of medical doctor in 1987 and today is known as Juan Ibarra, MD, Pain Management Specialist, for CGH Medical Center in Sterling, IL. Juan and his wife Michelle currently live in Sycamore where they stay busy, blessed with four children and two grandchildren.

Currently there are over 65 scholarship funds at the Community Foundation, all with a desire to provide opportunity through the pursuit of education. To discuss setting up a fund that meets your charitable interests, or to contribute to an existing fund, please contact Executive Director Dan Templin at 815-748-5383 or d...@dekalbccf.org.
