All glories to Srila Prabhupada and to his sincere followers.
We are pleased to inform you that, by the mercy of Hari, Guru, and Vaisnavas, the version 2 of our mobile application, Bhakti Vikasa Swami, is now live. Kindly head over to Play Store (for Android) and/or App Store (for iOS and iPadOS) to get the latest version.
Salient features of the new version are as follows:
1. Audio/Video can now be played at 1.15x (apart from 0.5x, 0.75x, 1x, 1.25x, etc.)
2. Audio files can now be shared with a short link that generates a meaningful preview upon being shared.
3. Shared links now lead to the file and play it.
4. History of played files.
5. Sort the files duration-wise, alphabetically, and popularity-wise.
6. Notifications for the newly uploaded audio files.
7. All audio/video files will now save the progress of playback and will always resume from the last played location.
8. Users can now save playlists of lectures. Playlist can be set as either Private or Public. Public playlists are available to all the users of the app.
9. Video mode for streaming videos lectures, bhajans, etc. (requires good internet connection).
10. Users will see top 10 popular lectures for the current month and current week.
11. Stats section for users to track their hearing during the current week, previous week, previous month, or any custom period of time.
13. Listened files can now be marked as complete.
14.Details of total files in the app and the files listened/completed.
15. Top 10 lectures for the current week and the current month.
