How to Retrieve/Change BCC password in ATG 10.1.1

Can anybody help me with retrieving or changing the BCC login password for ATG 10.1.1

Hi Tripti,

One option is to go in as another admin user (i.e. admin or merchandising) and modify the password of the user that needs to be retrieved.

The password is stored in the database with encryption. There might be ways to decrypt it, but I haven't used that.

If all else fails, take an encrypted known password and overwrite the user's password in the table DPI_USER. After flushing the cache, you should be able to log in with the known password.

Thanks for your prompt response.

I updated the password using DPI_USER table (update ATGCORE.DPI_USER set password= ’21232f297a57a5a743894a0e4a801fc3' where login = ‘admin’ ) (source : https://forums.oracle.com/thread/2474578)

But, now also I am not able to login. It still shows incorrect password.

you can reset the pwd by importing the profile.xml.
