Implementing GWP and PWP promotions

Hi,

I am working on implementing GWP and PWP promotions. Can some one guide me the steps to implement these promotions?

Do i need to create GWP with fixed price Promotion in BCC? What should be the conditon specify?
How do i map the Product with its respective Gift Item
Any customization required?
How the Purchase with Purchase (PWP) works?

From Retail terminology, PWP is assorted set of products with price deal. If purchased in mix(single product multiple counts & different products) you get products at discounted rate. I am not sure about ATG how it takes care of this.....

For GWP, i have a couple of questions and it would be great if someone can clarify me

 

1) When business users create a promotion like " if order contains atleast 1 product ProductA, give 100% discount on ProductB", Is the developer task has to create a scenaro for adding product B to the order if Product A is added ?

 

2)How can i access the ACC in Production? using ACC Client Software provided by ATG? Is there any other way i can handle the scenarios by getting the Product A and Product B information from "Item added to order" event? because business users will have flexibilty to create and deploy promotions at anytime in BCC.
