Use the Lock Conflicts page

Hi,

I am getting below exception while trying to deploy and asset.

Could you please help me on resolving this issue,

Make sure no other active project has the same asset in it.

Either go to Lock Conflicts tab and resolve the conflicts or delete the same assets in other active projects

Hi Kdm,

Usually this exception comes only when one of the Project which u have created earlier is not in complete state and one of its assets is being used in other project.

So you can try it again by completing all the stages of previous project.

Hope this could help you coz I got the same issue today and got resolved by following the above approach. Once it is done, the lock is released.

Experts please share ur view on this.

Hi Kdm,

Use the LOCK CONFLICT tab in BCC, to identify the PROJECT which is giving lock conflict with your project.

After you come to know the name of the project in the LOCK CONFLICTS tab, then deploy that project first(project in lock conflict tab) and after that deploy your project.

This will hopefully resolve the issue.

In the lock conflict i cud not see any.. thats is my issue...
thinking some OOTP tables needs to be cleared , if so what are they ?

any thoughts ?

Hi,

There are three tables

avm_asset_lock(we can check if there is a record against the asset you are talking)
avm_devline,
avm_workspace 

You will definitley get some information from these tables in CA Schema.......

I dont remember the exact steps coz I did it long time back .....but these are the three tables ....
