Hi All,

I need help /advice on how to setup Endeca in an BCC instance.

I followed the below documents
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E35319_01/Platform.10-2/ATGEndecaIntegrationGuide/html/s0311contentadministrationcomponents01.html

But it is still failing in the below stage to pre-indexing.
/atg/commerce/endeca/index/CategoryToDimensionOutputConfig

I could not see any valid error during indexing in the logs.

Some more errors

Could some one throw some lights on this issue ?

It you wish to run indexing in the bcc instance the target should be null in the outputconfig components. Which also means the applicationconfiguration and indexingconfiguration should be properly configured in bcc as well. Otherwise you need to configure the synchronizationinvoker for remote indexing. Please read the local/remote indexing section of the document you mentioned.

Thanks Narinder for your comments, made the below change and it worked.

setting the OnPubServer flag to false for the following components
/atg/commerce/search/
ProductCatalogOutputConfig
/atg/commerce/endeca/index/CategoryToDimensionOutputConfig

But one question : will it affect the current bcc deployments ?
I am yet to test bcc deoloyments here after this above change.

Thanks
KdM
