Hi,

 

Role: Technical Architect

Location : Chicago IL (onsite)

Duration: 6+ months

 

Responsibilities:

 

Architectural Design:

  • Design and develop the overall architecture for the RMN platform, including data infrastructure, API integrations, and cloud-based systems.
  • Define the technology roadmap for the RMN, aligning with business goals and industry trends.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms to support the RMN.
  • Create architectural diagrams and documentation.

 

Data Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy for the RMN, including data collection, storage, processing, and analysis.
  • Design data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Define data governance and security policies.
  • Design the data lake and data warehouse architecture that will support the reporting and analytical needs of the RMN.

 

API and Integration:

  • Design and implement APIs for data exchange with internal and external systems.
  • Define API standards and best practices.
  • Ensure seamless integration with third-party advertising platforms and data providers.

 

Cloud Infrastructure:

  • Design and implement cloud-based infrastructure for the RMN, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices.

 

Security and Compliance:

  • Design and implement security measures to protect the RMN platform and data.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.

 

Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
  • Mentor and train junior architects and developers.   
  • Stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends in retail media and advertising.
  • Work with vendors to evaluate software and hardware solutions.

 

Performance Optimization:

  • Design and implement systems that allow for high performance of the retail media network.
  • Design and implement monitoring systems to ensure that the retail media network is running optimally.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in software architecture and system design.   
  • Deep understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
  • Experience with API design and development.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Retail Media Networks, or digital advertising platforms.
  • Experience in designing high volume, low latency systems.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with specific retail media platforms.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising and ad tech.
  • Experience with customer data platforms (CDPs).
  • Experience with Machine learning technologies.
