A PowerPoint template is a pattern or blueprint of a slide or group of slides that you save as a .potx file. Templates can contain layouts, colors, fonts, effects, background styles, and even content.

You can create your own custom templates and store them, reuse them, and share them with others. You can also find hundreds of different types of free templates on templates.office.com and on other partner websites that you can apply to your presentation.

WKU faculty, staff, and students give frequent presentations both on campus and off. We often get requests for Powerpoint templates that are already branded for WKU. We have created the following templates for your use. Please choose the one(s) most appropriate for your needs. Click on the image to download the Powerpoint file.

Basic Powerpoint templates are provided for University of Miami-related use. Replace template images with photography and graphics that best support your presentation. For attractive campus images, browse the University of Miami Photoshelter website.

The COVID-19 pandemic brought the necessity for more Zoom meetings to take place. Provided below are a set of virtual backgrounds for your usage as well as some tips and tricks to operating in Zoom meetings.

For printed university stationery, contact one of the local approved vendors directly. They have customizable templates for letterhead, envelopes, business cards and other materials in both the traditional WashU style, or the more contemporary updated style.

Below are a set of PowerPoint templates set up in Widescreen (16:9) format with more than 45 slide designs to incorporate into your presentation. Each template includes brief instructions and recommendations.

Icons can be changed to any color in NC State's color palette. Either place a white icon on a field of color, or convert an icon's color for use on a white background. Only use one color per icon. Icons should not be altered or combined.

The only appropriate font family for email templates is Arial. Be mindful of how frequently you send emails to your audiences. Excessive contact will cause fatigue, leading recipients to ignore your messages.

These Microsoft Word letterhead templates are only for digital communications. After you create your body copy, export them as PDFs. The only font you should use both to populate your information and for the content of your letter is Arial. You can purchase other stationery items, such as business cards, letterhead and envelopes, through Marketplace. Business cards are also available at Wolf Xpress in the Talley Student Union.

You can create research posters in two sizes using these PowerPoint templates. To create a custom size, first remove the header by selecting and cutting it, and then resize the slide. Once resized, paste the header back into the slide.

The following are institutionally-branded templates. These options are available for official faculty and staff use (or for students representing the University in an official capacity; research symposium, thesis presentations, etc.) Faculty, staff and students should not use these for personal presentations, student life activities, etc.

Visit our Stevens Themed Backgrounds portal to find images that may be used by members of the Stevens community as virtual backgrounds for online meetings using Zoom or MS Teams. As our first social-specific brand element, Social Backgrounds provide an easy way for you to incorporate visual brand consistency into your posts. All backgrounds are provided in widescreen, square, and vertical aspect ratios with and without the Community Shield design.

There are three PowerPoint presentation templates, each in two slide sizes below. The brand template is most closely aligned with the brand, the formal template uses less graphic elements, and there is a template that incorporates the UPMC logo for co-branded presentations. The last page of the brand template includes graphics that can be copied and pasted throughout the presentation for visual distinction.
