Library Express is located inside the building that has 1990 K Street NW as its front address. There is a side entrance to the building on 20th street. The library is most accessible via this side entrance. The side entrance does not have a street address, but it is on 20th street, between I and K street. Metro Access should be informed that the drop off point is on 20th street between I and K. 19th street, I street and 20th street are all one-way, so drivers who come to the 1990 K street entrance will have to drive clockwise around the block to find the entrance on 20th street. There is a large blue L sign - the DC Public Library logo, posted above the 20th street entrance. There is a drop off parking zone in front of the entrance.

The nearest metro is Farragut West at 18th and I, or Farragut North at 17th and K.

Once you come in the 20th Street entrance of Library Express, there is a bank of glass doors to enter the building. Once you are in the building there is a staircase going up one level on the left, a wheelchair lift going down one level on the right and in the center there is a staircase going down one level. Take either the down staircase or the wheelchair lift to the lower level and the library is through the glass doors, and the second door on the left. The first door is the Goethe Insitut and the second is Library Express.

There are a number of parking lots near Library Express, although they can be as much as $20 for a few hours of parking. Street parking is available but very limited. Some lots are listed below:
