Dear Participants,

Thank you all for joining us at the Agent Substrate Community Summit in Kirkland! It was fantastic to bring together participants from Google, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Red Hat, Solo.io, and other organizations to collaborate on the future of our ecosystem.

Over the two days, we had incredibly productive sessions covering a wide range of critical topics:

• Networking, Identity, & Authz: We explored the networking model, Ingress/Egress paths, DNS, and ATESPACE semantics. Discussions also highlighted identity frameworks (JWT, SPIFFE), policy boundaries, and strategies for handling external vendor policies.
• Actor & Agent Lifecycle: We debated the nuances between pause and suspend actions, snapshot types (Full, DurDir), fault tolerance, and garbage collection. We also categorized actor types into Agent Harnesses (pull/push models like Claw/Claude) and Sandbox Environments.
• Substrate Upgrades: A significant focus was placed on safe ATE upgrades, handling version skew between atelets and workers, Redis upgrades, and graceful termination during K8s node updates.
• Worker Autoscaling & Pluggability: We touched upon worker autoscaling, scheduling, egress pluggability, and optimizing memory efficiency for always-on and dynamic actors.

Your insights and active participation in the breakout tracks were invaluable in shaping our next milestones.

Thank you once again for your time, energy, and contributions. We look forward to continuing these discussions and building upon the foundation we've set!
