Tofurther clarify what others have said, if you look for "Kazra " by the main fountain (courtyard with the bank/AH/inn, etc), they offer the weekly quest tied to the weekly event (e.g. this week is to complete 10 Arena Skirmishes). They are the Bronze drakonid with huge dumbells.

Less player choice. Yay

wym? Either you get the spark the old way for using flightstones and 2 Splinters. OR you can do the weekly stuff How is this less player choice?

Before, you could choose which of 2 weeklies you wanted to do. Now you can't. They show 3, but force you into 1. Therefore, it's less player choice.

If players have to wait until Week 7 for a choice on the weekly, then they shouldn't even show the other options yet.

Wait, so you have to do everything? Damn, doing that on multiple characters is gonna suck.

Yeah, that's my thought, too. It's too much, especially since over half of the requirements are timed events. If you just miss out then you have to wait until it comes back around again. I could understand if only one of the events for the week's quest was the timed event, but when the Dragon Isles and the Caverns both have two of them in their lineup? It's just really bad.

Why couldn't it have been a short list of asynchronous tasks instead? The Dreamsurge quest and seeds aren't too bad since you can take your time with those, and the hunts are okay since there's multiple iterations of them every hour, but the others were a terrible design choice for people with multiple alts. Especially when moving forward the game is supposed to be very alt-friendly according to the higher ups and the devs. Right now this quest iteration flies right in the face of Blizz's promise to "respect player time". I doubt the S4 raiders are happy with the amount of extra work either...

Honestly, it makes the idea of doing these quests way less appealing than they may otherwise have been. I'm not even sure if the rewards are worth it, since I'm not planning on taking part in the raids this season; just the open world stuff, achievements, pets, mounts, etc.

Yeah one choice per week and it is basically 3 times as long :/

So... you can get max 1 and it will drop in a Mythic or else from the Weekly Quest? If you get the dungeon drop, it gets removed from the quest rewards?

This article wasn't totally clear to me.

It "CAN" reward you with a spark. Wich one is it, splintered or a full spark? And what are the loot chances for this.?

They mean can. I'm looking at my weekly right now, and it offers no splinter, or spark.

*EDIT* Nevermind, upon accepting the quest it shows the spark as a reward.

I just noticed, that the Feast part you don't even need to 'finish' the 5-step quest from Pleeqi, just do 1 and it'll tick 'complete' on this one (just 'participate', then head over to do the others, if running same time).

Having to do 3 events per week, per char...is ass.

This is insanely horrible for alts. Making me scared for TWW. They just don't learn.

?

Add one more grumpy Altoholic's vote for this great "alt friendly" crap, and that too in the last season of the expansion. \_(ツ)_/

I just completed the weekly and got a Splintered Spark, so unless there's a way to get another it looks like every two weeks and no full spark on week 1 :-(

Same here... so at this rate.... every other week as you said......

The Artisan's Consortium has a few quest givers that offer quests weekly for reputation and other rewards. These quests unlock after reaching 25 skill points in a relevant profession; as with the profession trainer quests, these are available once per profession per week

Season 4 of Dragonflight includes a new Splintered Spark of Awakening and Spark of Awakening for crafting! In order to get this, you can complete the weekly open world quest from the Dragon Isles Emissary, Therazal in Valdrakken.

Time to get back into the weekly grind! Sadly, no alt help for this kind. Each of your characters can earn the new Season 4 Spark of Awakening for doing weekly activities in Dragonflight. You need this new Spark to craft even higher ilvl items for this Season. Let's get started with the main Weekly Quest, which you always pick up from the same NPC by the fountain in Valdrakken.

As usual, do your weekly Dragonflight quest to earn important rewards, once per character. This time, it's one of three rotating zones. You don't actually have a choice as to which you'll do. Note that you may receive only half a Spark for doing these, so you'll get a Splintered Spark of Awakening.

Blizzard actually confirmed that you get a full Spark in the first week (half for the Weekly Quest, and half from other sources). Going forward, you will be able to earn a Splintered Spark each week, so a half. At the very least, you can immediately craft something powerful this week, but then you'll have to wait a bit to progress with your gear.

You'll have to do each of these events! Someone in Wowhead comments said that you only have to do 1 task at the Community Feast in order to count for this, but you might as well do the Feast quest while you're there.

When you finish a Mythic dungeon, you have a chance to obtain a Splintered Spark of Awakening as part of the loot at the end. Great to catch up with if you're behind on Sparks, especially if you prefer running Mythic+ dungeons!

You can also get a Splintered Spark of Awakening for participating in PvP activities, such as Battlegrounds or Arenas. Check the boxes that you receive as rewards for wins. The weekly PvP quest from Malicia can get you one too, if you haven't gotten it from other sources.

The PvP quests offered by Strategist Zo'rak are weekly quests, and they will reset after normal resets each week. It's important to turn them in as soon as they are ready to be turned in. Progress earned does not carry over to the next week, as the quest may be replaced with a different quest the following week. If you do not finish it for a given week, the progress you made will be lost.

To complete the quest you have to do lots of boring daily and weekly activities so why would you waste hours of farming them if you can simply invest your time in more exciting and new Dragonflight end-game content?
