Fall WI Mini Tournament Info

Hi All!

 

We are only 60 days from the next WI Mini Tournament on Saturday, Oct 24^th in Sherwood (same place as the last three).

 

Some thoughts / reasons why I selected the date:

 

·         It is split between the two upcoming regional tournaments – Sept 26^th in Rosemont, IL and Nov 14^th in Merrillville, IN.   This gives competitors some extra “action” in between those!

 

·         It is a Packer bye week and the venue was available.  GO PACK!

 

·         Finally, I realize this is the same weekend as Fall Nationals and some of you will be gone.  Train, test and compete well!  Please encourage your students who cannot make it to Fall Nationals to come have fun at our WI Mini Tournament.  It is a great way to practice judging and competing to prep for regional tournaments!

 

 

REMINDER:  Master Plessel has agreed to hold a Chevron Clinic in Appleton.  September 12^th at 10 am to 12 noon.   I am 99% sure we have reached to minimum number of attendees!   Please share with your teams!  Please forward the names, ranks and what Chevron they are certifying/re-certifying for – so I can forward to Master P.  I will send out a separate e-mail confirming as planned on September 5^th.

Attached are directions!   Starts at 11AM, judges meeting at 10:30 red/black belts and higher.
