Saif,,

Computer viruses/worms cannot bring  down industrial plants and process facilities,,,,

Even if a supposed worm does find its way into an engineering workstation of say, an oil and gas plant, and changes the ladder to spin the motors on some pump faster,,  there are hard wired securities, physical speed governors that shut down motor on overspeed / rpm,,,

To put it short, even in the most ideal scenarios, the worst damage a worm can do is to create false alarms and trip the plant ,, not  BLOW it up !

Try to youtube it and see how it works.
It is designed SPECIFICALLY for PLCs. It carries a genuine industry signature. It remains in the system with the name of a system file.
Blocks the access and does we dont know what.....something like what happened in the cold war....

I know it’s DCS specific, but to work, the programmer of the worm has to know the make, model, configuration of the DCS/PLC( also the I/O ports configuration, the already burnt code, the complete plant inside out) ,,,  and of course, there are a million types of PLC’s in this world,, not just one J
