problems with bricks and modems

Good day all;

I have a Netblazer 40i with 3.32 patchlevel 3 and 32 modem lines on 4
bricks and a MTA32. Earlier today bricks 1, 3, and 4 ceased working (the
status lights were off). A reboot fixed the problem for now, but I'm
wondering what caused this to happen.

Any ideas / suggestions?
