I don't remember when I signed up for this list, but can someone send me
the information on how to get off it.

I usually reply to these privately, but here's a public response. Maybe
this oughta get posted once a month or something.

>From personal experience, the following actually works for getting off
com-priv:

Send a message to
list...@lists.psi.com
with the following in the body of the message and the subject line:
signoff com-priv <the e-mail name under which you're subscribed>

Note: if you include a "signature" at the bottom of the message, there's
always the remote chance that it will confuse the list processor, so
don't.

Comment: I have this amusing picture in my head of a Hotmail user who
has signed up for multiple lists and is getting flooded with mail, 90%
of which is arguments about how many angels on heads of pins. Poor
user. Poor Hotmail. And apologies, Joshua, if this mischaracterizes
you. :-)
