He was thinking about possibly getting an extended tube 3D printed - he does have access to that tech, however i feel that kind of route will need quite a few takes before getting it right - may not be worth the time and effort.
As far as other available products are concerned, there is the ARES extension buffer tube for the amoeba range: Anyone know if the threads on this will fit the Classic Army Scarab/Nemesis?
Now unfortunately a standard M4 buffer tube wont work, however some manufacturers produce buffer tubes where the fore ring is threaded and actually screws off the tube: Does anyone know if these threads would allow the buffer tube to be attached directly to the CA Nemesis receiver (therefore allowing something like a crane stock to be attached for a better battery solution)?

The Bushnell DOB 5 130mm Dobsonian mount features friction bearings on the altitude and the azimuth, that make for a more user friendly telescope mount than the ball bearing setups used on many other Dobsonian telescopes. The telescope stops dead in its tracks when you remove your hand and does not continue moving as happens with ball bearing designs. The carry handle is convenient in keeping with the portable design of this Telescopes.

The Athlon Optics Ares ETR UHD 4.5-30x56 Rifle Scope withAPRS1 FFP MIL reticle provides excellent performance for hunting and extremedistance shooting. It uses a 56mm objective lens and a high-precision erectorsystem, and it has a 34mm aircraft-grade aluminum one piece tube that is heattreated for increased durability.
The scope is shockproof, waterproof, and argon purged todeliver enhanced fogproofing compared to scopes that use lesser methods ofpurging. In addition, it uses very low-dispersion UHD glass, advancedfully-multicoated lenses, and XPL protective coating that combine to result in well-definedviews and superior resistance from contaminants such as oil and dirt.
The Athlon Optics Ares UHD 4.5-30x56 uses a locking windageturret that helps to prevent unintended adjustments due to bumps or snags, aswell as a precision zero stop on the elevation turret and stainless steelinterior components for the turrets. Both turrets can be adjusted in a range of32 MIL, with 0.1 MIL click increments and 10 MIL per rotation.
The APRS1 FFP (first focal plane) MIL reticle uses etchedglass for performance and features a fine central dot, hash marks on thecrosshairs out to a distance of 6 mils in all directions, and a Christmas treesection of holdover dots and markings on the bottom. The illuminated reticlefeature can be activated on the portions out to 6 mils using variablebrightness settings.
The glass on this scope is fantastic for the price point. My only real comparison is among Arken and Leopold. It blows the arken out of the water on clarity and can give my Leopold a run for its money. Only looses out slightly with mirage at higher magnification. The zero stop is stupid simple to adjust at the range. The turrets are notched so adjusting your zero is fast. The clicks are very tactile and very audible. Point being you will be satisfied with your purchase. I'm surprised more people don't run these.
