Blank Page before appendix

I am also having the members issue (though i cheated and just stuck all 4 nonchair members under memberOne and just put \\ line breaks)

But I can not seem to get rid of a random blank page that gets put between my References and the Appendix:

\addcontentsline{toc}{chapter}{REFERENCES}
\include{references}}

\renewcommand{\chaptername}{APPENDIX}
\addcontentsline{toc}{chapter}{APPENDIX}
\appendix
\include{appendixtables}

Any solution? I can't just delete it after, because of page #s
