Welcome! This is a discussion group for the asudis LaTeX files on GitHub. This forum is intended for graduate students to post questions and help each other with LaTeX formatting issues.

Please note: This group is moderated by John Shumway. I have been a professor at ASU since 2001, and I am currently working for a startup company in Maryland.

After writing style files for my own Ph. D. at Illinois back in 1999, I decided to write a template for my students who were struggling with ASU formatting requirements.

While LaTeX formatting can be frustrating, please remember that these files exist from hard work by myself and several clever and caring graduate students.

The idea of this group is to have a central place students can gather online to post questions, share solutions, vent, and discuss LaTeX issues.

I started this group on March 26, 2014, and it will take some time for questions and answers to accumulate here. In the meantime, feel free to email me at john.shumwayjr@gmail.com.
