ebay no longer using http

Ebay is now using https and there is no way to access ebay using the non secured connection, therefore, I created two accounts in alibaba which still uses http, is this ok ? or are we expected to still use ebay for the project?

Yes, Ebay uses https. This is mentioned at the top of the assignment. Part-2 is labelled as left over from last year -- ebay was vulnerable then. Part 2 does not work for ebay.

Alibaba -- now that is an idea. Yes you can try to hack Alibaba. Part 2 will work if Alibaba keeps you logged in without https (I have not verified, I do not have an alibaba account).

Do we need the site to use http for part 1 as well or should that work with https as well?
