Beta Java driver branch promotion

Hi All,

We are looking for Astyanax version which uses DSE driver instead of thrift.

The Beta java driver branch looks promising in this aspect.

We were wondering if there is any estimate on the stable release of this branch ?

Can we get the beta release from maven repository or is the only option to build from source oursevles?

The Dec 2013 article says it will be available in Mid January 2014 and it is May already.

When will the artifact be available from a maven repository? Are these the GA ones http://search.maven.org/#search|ga|1|astyanax?? Hope they are not the beta ones, where are the examples?

I have been looking to migrate from Hector to Astyanax over Java driver. & not directly to DS Java driver itself, just because it will be more easier migration & with better features like automatic caching for prepared statements. I have been waiting for this Astyanax release since december last year but still there's no clarity about the release plan for stable & maven ready version of Astyanax over Java driver. Does anyone have any idea about this ?
