Hi,

The nomination form for positions on the Coordinating Committee is now open at: https://forms.gle/nztrHQ5Th8CYTXhZ6

You may nominate yourself or someone else. Nominees will be asked to provide a brief statement in the Astropy section of the OpenAstronomy discourse server at community.openastronomy.org

Statements will be posted as nominations come in.
  • There will be two questions on the ballot:
    • One will be whether the CoCo should have four or five people on it.
    • The other will be to vote for those candidates you support.
  • The election will fill all four or five seats on the CoCo. Terms are normally three years, but this initial election will have staggered terms, as described in APE 0.
  • The nominations will be open through Monday, August 16, one day longer than originally planned because I'm a day late in open the form due to travels.
  • The election will still begin as scheduled on Tuesday, August 17.
Thanks,
Matt Craig

In one additional clarification - if you want to see the candidate statements, which reflect the latest *accepted* nominations, this link should do the job:
