astropy core lib: Auto delete branch after merge?

Can I enable this for astropy core lib repo? Why not? Thanks!

Motivation: pre-commit and some other automated workflows open PRs from astropy repo (not fork). Would be nice if those branches are auto-deleted on merge.

I support this. A vast majority of branches have no purpose beyond mergers, and in the very rare cases where they do, restoring them is just one click away. The cost/benefit ratio seems highly favorable in my opinion.
