Use of astropy in WebAssembly

Hi everyone,

One item which has been on the existing Astropy project roadmap for a little while is:

    Add basic PyScript/WebAssembly support in Astropy

As part of roadmap discussions at the coordination meeting last week, people seemed to report that they haven't had any issues recently getting astropy to work in e.g. pyiodide, and we provide builds of astropy and several coordinated packages in emscripten-forge. There are no open issues in the core repository that I can see that seem related to WebAssembly. We therefore wanted to check whether people still feel that they have issues using astropy in this kind of environment, or whether we can likely remove this from the roadmap?
