SpaceX launches Transporter-4 rideshare mission from Florida

SpaceX launched its 12th rocket of the year. The two-stage Falcon 9 rocket blasted off from Space Launch Complex 40 Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, carrying dozens of small satellites into space as part of the company’s fourth dedicated rideshare mission.

Rocket Lab launches 112th satellite to orbit

Rocket Lab USA, a leading launch and space systems company, has successfully deployed two satellites to orbit for real-time geospatial intelligence company BlackSky, bringing the total number of satellites deployed by Rocket Lab to 112.

Perseverance rover’s Mars samples now won’t make it to Earth until 2033 at best

The NASA-ESA campaign to haul Mars samples back to Earth will require two Red Planet landers instead of one. The change will delay the arrival of samples here by two years, to no earlier than 2033.

GS Yuasa Lithium Power completes PDR of scalable spacecraft battery

GS Yuasa Lithium Power (GYLP) has announced the successful completion of the Preliminary Design Review (PDR) for a new scalable small form factor battery design. With PDR complete the battery design will now move into the critical design phase.
