The biggest hurdle to becoming an astronaut is that a lot of people want to be astronauts. And, there's not that many spots. So, it requires some luck. It requires some hard work.
The advice that I give kids and adults is don't tell yourself no.
So, if you have a dream that you want to pursue. The first step, the most important step, is don't tell yourself no.
And then, once you decide what you want to do if you want to be an astronaut or a doctor. Whatever you want to do then you have to do the hard work to take the steps to get there.
But, that first step is very important. Don't tell yourself no.
