Why did I want to be an astronaut? Well, that's a good question. It was kind of one of those things that I really wanted to be a pilot. When I was probably a little bit older than you guys and worked towards that. And was lucky enough to get to fly jets and then be a test pilot. And so at that point, a few people that were kind of mentors to me said. If you’re interested in flying the space shuttle you’re probably in a good position to apply to be an astronaut. And so, I did. And, I was lucky enough to get picked.

So, that’s kind of how I ended up being an astronaut.
