Hi,

after installing astrometry with brew (brew install astrometry-net), when try to solve the following error appears:

lucianovigano@hal2001 Documents % solve-field test.jpeg

Reading input file 1 of 1: "test.jpeg"...

Traceback (most recent call last):

  File "/usr/local/bin/image2pnm", line 14, in <module>

    from astrometry.util.image2pnm import main

ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'astrometry'

augment-xylist.c:590:backtick Failed to run command: /usr/local/bin/image2pnm --infile test.jpeg --uncompressed-outfile /tmp/tmp.uncompressed.gLbrHZ --outfile /tmp/tmp.ppm.qA3ai2 --ppm --mydir /usr/local/bin/solve-field

 ioutils.c:567:run_command_get_outputs Command failed: return value 1

Any clue?

Best,
Luciano

Yep, I'm following the discussion ... but it's way too much for me :)

Keep fingers crossed :-)

best,
Luciano
