Dear Astrometry.net Support Team,

I am experiencing a critical issue when using the Astrometry.net API. Specifically, the downloaded files corr.fits and wcs.fits appear to be either corrupted or incomplete. I have verified that this is not related to my internet connection, as I have tested the service from different networks with the same result.

Could you please confirm whether this issue is related to the way I am using the API, or if it might be a problem on your server side?

Thank you very much for your attention and support.

Best regards,

mdf...@foegelle.net

This is probably the same problem I've discovered.  Are the files ~ 9 kB?  Look at them with Notepad++.  They're HTML for a new web page designed to block automated access to the website.  I was trying to figure out what broke my astrometry labeling on my website, but now I know that it's copying that web page instead of the file I asked it to copy.

Dustin and I were communicating offline, but just so everyone else knows the resolution of this, yes, the suggestion from the github thread worked for me.  I had to write my own copy function to be able to set the referral, since the PHP copy function I was using isn't that flexible, but I'm back operational.  Thanks Dustin!

Thanks,

Michael/Beo
