Solving older plates

Hi all,

Taking a look at the solve settings, I noticed that there's no field for observation date. Is there a way to use astrometry.net that accounts for proper motion, so that it can accurately handle images taken 30+ years ago?

Hi,

For most images, the proper motions really don't matter very much.  We can easily handle 100-year old plates.  (The Harvard plate archive scanning project used Astrometry.net).
