Nova processing failed, joblog and joblog2 do not exist

Hi,

my first [1] submission (sub. 273600, job 744884) failed and I wanted to investigate the possible cause; however, when I look at the joblogs I only get "no such file or directory" errors [2][3]. Is this a spurious error and maybe related to the recent restart of the server? Should I just submit again? Or is this something needing further attention?

Thanks for sending the links.  I'm not sure what happened with your job (why it was marked "failed"), but it probably died before writing anything to the log files, so the log files are empty and that error results.  I re-ran that job and it succeeded.

That workes. In the meantime I already learned to use the command line programs; works quite good! :-)
