I've installed sextractor using homebrew on macOS to use with astrometry-net. When I run an image with the default source finder, I get a solution. When I run with sextractor, I hit a cpu limit even if I up the cpulimit from 600 default to 1500. DO I need a still longer CPUlimit and if so how long?

Also, where is the default sextractor cfg file? The documentation suggests configuring on "like the one we write" but I can't find it and use it as a template.

(logs attached).

Hi,

The source extractor call we do is

source-extractor -PARAMETERS_NAME param_file -VERBOSE_TYPE FULL -FILTER_NAME filter_file -CATALOG_TYPE FITS_1.0 -CATALOG_NAME xyls_file fits_image_file

where param_file contains

X_IMAGE
Y_IMAGE
MAG_AUTO
FLUX_AUTO

and filter_file contains

CONV NORM
# 5x5 convolution mask of a gaussian PSF with FWHM = 2.0 pixels.
