Hi,
We have a camera on the space station. We have both stars and the earth's limb in the field of view. My students are having a hard time getting a solution. Is the problem the earth's limb? We can obviously just snip out the star field and send that. I just wondered.

thanks
Geoff

Hi,

It depends a bit on the details -- if the source detection algorithm finds a lot of fake "sources" in the Earth part, that can cause problems.

If you can share any examples, I might be able to comment in more detail.

cheers,
dustin
