Greetings:

I'm using the URL-based submission API at http://nova.astrometry.net/api/url_upload and everything is working fine, except I can't find figure out how to include "Star Positional Error" in the arguments passed. Neither "positional_error", "pixel_error" or any other obvious variations seem to work, and it's not included in the documentation here: http://astrometry.net/svn/trunk/src/astrometry/net/doc/api.rst.

Thanks for your help,
Adam

Just to clarify: in terms of the command line version it's the "--pixel-error" argument/option I'm attempting to use via the API. From testing with manual website uploads I've found it necessary to include this option to get good results (given the nature of distortion in my images, merely setting a higher tweak order doesn't quite do it).

If there simply isn't a way to pass this argument with the API, then I'd like to suggest it be added as a feature.

Many thanks,
Adam

Sorry for the slow response.  It appears that isn't currently in the API.  I just added it to the code and updated the supernova.astrometry.net testing site, but it will take a while until that appears in the nova site.

The key is "positional_error".

cheers,
