Hi everyone!

Lately I have encountered some frames that (I assume) are on the boundaries of healpixes - therefore detected stars are in two seperate index files. Red-green image looks like this:

It's kinda problematic because resulting WCS file has a lot of difficulties in resolving sources on the right-hand side of the frame. Is it possible (preferably for local version, not online) to set up astrometry.net in such a way so the .corr file would have sources from both indexes?

Hi,

How wide is your image?  (in angle)  There is supposed to be some overlap between the healpixes - or, rather, some margin around the edges of each healpix index file.  But there was also this report some time ago - https://github.com/dstndstn/astrometry.net/issues/253 - so maybe that's not working correctly.

cheers,
dustin

I believe it's about 2x1.5 degrees. It was solved using 5204-10 index file.
