Hi,

Basically, you want the properties of the star catalog to match the images you're going to be using it with -- so, you want the same stars to be detected (eg, covering the same part of the sky) with the same (approximate) brightness ordering.

The star catalog basically just needs RA,Dec (in decimal degrees) and a brightness ordering column.
