Epoch?

I am not an astrometrist but use the Upload when the scope does not point well, uploading a fits format image.  I don't see the epoch of the solution anywhere. Is it 2000? When I initialize the position in the telescope control system I have to, of course, specifiy that.

Hi there,

The coordinates are in the ICRS / J2000.0 frame.  For Gaia reference catalogs, the star positions are at the Gaia DR2 epoch (2015.5, if I remember correctly).
