How to upload using Python ?

so I dont have much experience with Python so Im having some difficulty with this project.

I was able to login but the problem is uploading the file. 

Im trying to write my own client and I have read the docs. As per the docs I have to upload this to http://nova.astrometry.net/api/upload. 

I have tried experimenting with different methods but cant seem to get it to work. Im always getting error no Json. 

so how do I upload a multipart/form-data to the server ? can I use a  txt file ? 

Any directions is appreciated!
