Hello everybody!
I love the astrometry.net service but to speed the work a little while centering object during my exoplanet night sessions I would find really usefull to operate locally instead of using the web interface.
I found this Java project, but I couldn't make it work on windows.
I'm not really good at Java, but creating a .bat file with the command line shouldn't be so difficoult.
Does anybody have an idea about how to run it?
Cheers
Giancarlo

By the way:
1) I obviously put my api key into the config file.
2) I don't have any feedback from the client. I start it via the command line (or via a .bat file) and nothing happens.

Ok, I solved the problem.
While putting my apikey, I disrupted the template. At the end of each definition, there's a byte set at 10 value. Since I used notepad to edit the config, I couldn't see the extra byte and overwrote it.
HEX editor helped me with that, but also a great "thank you" goes to the author of the java client who's a very nice person to deal with.
