Subject: Upcoming astronomy lecture (Oct 24)
Hello Faculty at SF City College,
My name is Monica Albe and I'm the new external relations specialist for all the science and math departments in the College of Letters & Science at Berkeley.
Apologies for not sending this sooner, but I thought your faculty and students might be interested in the upcoming Distinguished Astronomy Lecture at UC Berkeley that is at 6pm on Oct 24.
I'm attaching the flyer and the poster. And here's the Berkeley calendar event listing:
Everyone is welcome, there's no registration or fees required. It should be a great talk by Bob Kirshner (who's currently at the Moore Foundation).
If it would help with spreading the word, I can also forward the email invitation I sent out to local Cal alumni -- it's eye-catching and could easily be forwarded to listservs.
Thanks for your help,
Monica
