A PRESENTATION BY DR. PASCAL LEE
FOLLOWED BY A SCREENING OF
THE MARTIAN 3D

THURSDAY, JUNE 16  • 6:30 PM

Dr. Pascal Lee will give an illustrated presentation about planning and preparation for the first human mission to Mars. First steps are under way, as we plan for deep space journeys and explore extreme environments on Earth. Dr. Lee will discuss our progress, from the Arctic to Antarctica, from basement labs to the International Space Station, to achieve the first human voyage to Mars.

THE MARTIAN 3D

Following Dr. Lee’s talk, we will screen THE MARTIAN in 3D format. Nominated for seven Oscars, including Best Picture, this highly acclaimed film stars
Matt Damon as an astronaut stranded alone on Mars and who must find ways to survive until he can be rescued.
