Finally National Students' Space Challenge 2012 gets started on 7th September, 2012 with a guest lecture delivered from Dr. N Srinivasa Hegde at 6:30 PM in Kalidasa Auditorium

About the speaker -
Instated in the domains of Indian Space Research as the Director of Chandrayaan 1, Dr. N Srinivasa Hegde has played a central role in space research in India. As the head of mission planning and analysis division, ISRO satellite center, Bangalore, he has been leading space research in India for a long period of time. He was involved in mission planning, analysis, operations and research since the inception of INSAT projects starting from APPLE. He was involved in the spacecraft design of Chandrayaan 1, and is presently involved in Chandrayaan 2 and the study phase of interplanetary missions. He has been a part of ISRO since 1978. NSSC ’12 is proud to play host to one of the senior most scientists of space research in India as our chief guest, and to give you a knowledge-enhancing experience.

Adding to it will be an exciting Quiz contest at 7:30 PM
